The Red Epic delivers unparalleled image quality in a small package.  It combines an ultra high resolution sensor with excellent dynamic range and the ability to shoot at very high frame rates.  And it does this at 1/3 the size of its predecessor, the Red One.

This is the Epic package for the pros.  The camera comes fully kitted with a wide array of useful and necessary accessories that are not included with other companies.  In addition to all the basic accessories such as the DSMC Side Handle, Redmote, 5" LCD Touchscreen and Bomb EVF, the camera comes with a Full Metal Jacket that allows for mounting of accessories to the top and side of the camera and provides options for both 19mm and lightweight 15mm rods support.  The package also includes both battery options of V-lock batts for normal, studio-style setups as well as Redvolt batteries (which are housed in the Side Handle) for lightweight, minimal setups.  The Redvolts also provide a hot swap when powering the camera on V-lock batteries.  The package includes all the necessary cables, with options for different lengths of monitor and EVF cables, as well as all cabling to power accessories and run the camera on a remote head.  With over 1 terabyte of SSD media included, there is never a worry about running out of card space, which is especially helpful when on remote heads, helicopters or when shooting in HDRX mode.
